MTA MILLAGE RENEWAL FLINT CITY CHARTER AMENDMENT PUBLIC TRANSPOTATION SERVICES MILLAGE RENEWAL
Shall Section 7-201(A)(3)be amended to authorize renewal of the existing .60 mills ($.60 per $1,000) on the taxable value of all real and personal property in the City of Flint from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2021 with all revenue received being used solely for the purpose of funding public transportation services in the City of Flint by the Flint Mass Transportation Authority (MTA)? It is estimated that .60 mills would raise approximately $449,967 in the first year of the renewal.
FLINT PUBLIC LIBRARY MILLAGE REQUEST FOR .6 MILLS INCREASE
Library Millage Proposal Shall the Flint Public Library, County of Genesee, Michigan, be author-ized to levy a new additional millage in an amount not to exceed.6 mill ($.60 of taxable value) against all taxable real and tangible personal property within the flint Public Library District for a period of seven (7) years, 2015 to 2021, inclusive for the purpose of providing funds for all District Library purposes authorized by law? The estimate of the revenue the District Library will collect if the millage is approved and levied by the Library in the 2015 calendar year is approximately $447,000.
