Communities First, Inc., Celebrates 10 Days of Kindness and 10 Years of Service

Communities First, Inc. will surprise Flint area residents during one of the most stressful years in our history as they celebrate World Kindness Day. World Kindness Day is a global day that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world. This day, celebrated on November 13 of each year, and the purpose is to help everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together. This understanding has the power to bridge the gap between nations and diverse groups of people. Communities First, Inc is celebrating its 10-year anniversary and decided to extend the festivities for 10 days!

Starting on November 4th through November 13th, they will be surprising residents in the Flint area in honor of World Kindness Day. Communities First, Inc. will share kindness with the community at many Flint area businesses. So far, they have written kind messages on the sidewalk at Masonic Temple on Saginaw Street, Court Street and Grand Traverse, Hamilton Ave. and Coolidge Park Apartments, offered free $10 gift certificates at Chubby Duck in the Farmer’s Market, given away free cookies at Hoffman’s Deco Deli and provided $10 off to shoppers at Bedrock Apparel. Each kind act was met with surprise, gratitude and a promise to spread kindness with others.

To follow the kind acts, check out the daily posts on the Communities First, Inc. Facebook or Instagram.
