Circle Drive October Block Club Meeting

Thursday, October 6 marks the date of the October meeting of the Circle Drive Neighborhood Association. (Just when you thought I’d forget to send out the notice)

If you’ve been paying attention to the news lately you know there is so much going on in Flint that it’s hard to keep up. Dueling trash trucks, water issues, Congress passing an allocation for Flint water infrastructure.

Councilman Kincaid will be on hand to update all of these issues and Kristen Stevenson (I hope-since I haven’t asked her yet) will be on hand to update the South Side Community Plan. Next month, I hope to have Kevin Schronce to update us on the Saginaw Street Road Diet plans.

All that, refreshments, 50/50 drawing and good company! Who could ask for more? Join us on Thursday at 6:00pm at the South Dort Service Center in the Dort Mall at the corner of Dort Hwy and Atherton Road. Bring a neighbor or friend who’s never attended.

I will have absentee ballot applications available at the meeting on Thursday.

I’m also asking Mark Smith of the Citizen’s Radio Patrol to make a short presentation about volunteering for Devil’s Night/Halloween Patrols.
