Volunteers are needed in each and every neighborhood in the City of Flint on Angel’s Night. If you would like to patrol your neighborhood, join us for training at Foss Avenue Baptist Church located at 1159 East Foss Ave, on Thursday, October 22nd, at 6:00 p.m. This will be a hands-on training using the actual equipment.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Patrolling with a partner is recommended
- Team Player
- Positive Attitude
3 ways to volunteer:
Drivers: Drive own vehicle, (bike or feet) slowly through the neighborhoods.
Observers: Accompany driver also looking for suspicious activity and communicating with Base Station.
Base Operator: Remains at a Service Center and serves as home base for the patrol. Base Operator is responsible for calling 911 regarding any suspected illegal activities.
All neighborhood associations, block clubs, community minded individuals and local business people are welcome to join us.
