This is an essential meeting as we introduce CONNECT MICHIGAN’S Connected Community broadband expansion program and our goal to become a Certified Connected Community. The future of Genesee County will be directly impacted by our ability to plan for and effectively leverage broadband for the benefit of Flint & Genesee residents and businesses.

Meeting Goals

  • Introduce the CONNECT MICHIGAN and Connected Community programs
  • Review the Community Broadband Assessment process and information needs
  • Outline a tactical plan to complete the assessment and resulting action plan for Genesee County

The meeting will be held at the University of Michigan-Flint in the Harding Mott University Center-Michigan Rooms (click for map). Free parking in the S. Saginaw/Kearsley Street Flat Lot (parking validation will be provided at the event). Free Event Parking will also be provided in the Mill Street Parking Ramp on the UM-Flint Campus.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
