Hi.

I’d like to let you know about some exciting changes.

After six years at Resource Genesee, I will be leaving to accept a new position as Events Specialist with the University of Michigan Transplant Center in Ann Arbor. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to use my background in volunteer management, communication and events to organize fund raising events to benefit patients who are undergoing organ transplants and their families.

My last day at Resource Genesee will be Friday, Feb. 13.

Please come and say goodbye this Friday, Feb. 13! I’d love to see you before I make the move. We are celebrating at Soggy Bottom Bar, 613 Martin Luther King Avenue, Flint, MI 48502, from 4-6pm Friday. Soggy Bottom is on MLK just behind Michigan Works/Career Alliance.

Marvin Diem has accepted the Director of Volunteer Services and will be taking over leadership of our Volunteer Services Department. Marvin’s email is Marvin@ResourceGenesee.org. He will move into my office and so his phone number will be (810) 232-6285, my current number.

It has been my pleasure to work with you to make our community a better place for all. Thank you for all you have contributed to my life and experience here in the Flint area.

If you’d like to stay in contact with me, my personal email is juliazaher@gmail.com. And I’m on LinkedIn as well.
