Spy School 101 at Sloan Museum

All is not as it appears… Chalk marks on a mailbox, a button on a stranger’s coat…all around you things that seem unimportant are actually changing world events. You may think you know what spying is, but do you really? JoinAnna Slafer, Director of Exhibitions and Programs at the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C. In this interactive presentation, the audience will find out and discover the secrets of what it takes to be a spy. They will test their spy skills to uncover how spies use observation and surveillance to find and avoid potential threats, the tricks behind the art of disguise, and the basics of codes and ciphers. Buy tickets online.

Sloan Museum is located at 1221 E. Kearsley St., Flint. Museum hours: Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $9 adults, $8 Seniors (60+), $6 Youth age 2-11, Children 1 and under are FREE. Sloan Museum is a member organization of the Flint Cultural Center Corporation and is supported in part by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Ruth Mott Foundation.  This activity is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
