Why: Chief of Police Timothy Johnson and the City of Flint Police Department would like to share with the community an announcement regarding the opening of the New Neighborhood police service center at the Neighborhood Engagement HUB. Chief Johnson believes strongly that service centers will give the citizens additional police presence and additional options when needing police services. Chief Johnson is also proud to announce the new therapy dog that the City of Flint Police Department will utilize working with children helping to reduce stress after an unfortunate traumatic incident.
