Dear Employer/Community Member,
The NAACP will be hosting its first Job Fair and would like to personally invite you to partner with us in our “Community Empowerment Health and Career Fair.” The goal of the NAACP is to host a career fair that can connect job seekers with employers while at the same time connecting them with other pre-employment services within Genesee County. We have identified some barriers that may interfere with individuals maintaining viable employment. This community event will address some of those barriers by having various community members involved to answer and disseminate information such as; day care providers, transportation providers, churches, medical personnel, Department of Human Services, etc. We will include any positive community members who may inform, inspire or give information that can help our job seekers sustain employment.
