City of Flint Water Bill Mailing for Some Customers Delayed

Flint, Michigan – February 11, 2015 – The City of Flint Customer Service Center is announcing that water bills for approximately 4500 water service customers in the area south of I-69 are being mailed this Saturday, a week later than normal. Those customers will have until February 26, 2015 to pay their bills without penalty. In addition, the mailing of the next billing cycle will be delayed until the week of March 9th, 2015.

City officials apologize for the delay and appreciate the customers who contacted the Customer Service department after not receiving their bills. “The City of Flint Customer Service Center regrets any inconvenience to our customers,” said Interim City Treasurer Al Mooney. “Steps to use a schedule that gets double checked to verify our vendor has received the file will avoid a recurrence of this problem.”
