Press Release: Crossover to Provide Emergency Groceries

Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry to Hold Various Mobile Food Giveaways for those in Need
Mobile food giveaways provide groceries to those in need amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Flint, Michigan, August 12, 2020: Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry has partnered up with various organizations to hold multiple mobile food pantries to support our efforts to provide free emergency groceries for those in need due to the COVID-19 pandemic and related shut-downs, job losses, etc.

Since 1991, Crossover has been uplifting our neighbors in need with free basic needs items, providing a social safety net. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many who don’t typically need help with these items are seeking resources to help as they struggle to obtain food for their families. Many families are now forced to live off of unemployment who were able to live stable lives prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. These mobile food giveaways allow Crossover to continue to provide for all who come to our door with need for a helping hand, along with people who can’t make it to our physical building in Flint.

The upcoming mobile food giveaways are as follows:
