Mayor Karen Weaver turns 60 on March 15. A party is being planned at the newly renovated Buick City Event Center on Friday, March 15 from 5 pm- 9 pm.
Event organizers encourage residents to wish Madame Mayor a “Happy Birthday” at the celebration which will reflect her year’s growing up, raising a family and taking the helm of the city she dearly loves.
The Mayor’s favorite DJ Raphael will keep everyone entertained along with cuisine by the Flint Farmer’s Market Charlie’s Smokin’ BarBQue. A brief program will be presented at 6:30 pm.
