Your Community Could Win a $1,000 Recycling Grant!

The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC) is looking for input from the general public about recycling in the County. A quick, 5-minute survey has been developed for the public to share their thoughts: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PQKXG5V. By taking the survey, residents will help their community win a $1,000 recycling grant! The top 3 communities with the highest percentage of survey respondents will win, so please help spread the word!

If your community wins, the $1,000 grant can be used on anything recycling related such as providing recycle/compost bins in public parks or buildings, recycling education (flyers, recycling guides, newsletter, or promotional items), helping a local school get recycling, community cleanup activities, purchase artwork made from reused material, and much more!

The survey will end on July 7, 2020. Copy the following link and share with your residents! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PQKXG5V

Questions about the survey or recycling grant can be directed to Cody Roblyer at croblyer@geneseecountymi.gov or (810) 766-6570.
